O Cortume Runge foi fundado em 1931 na Vila Clementino, em São Paulo, por Henrique Runge, onde após 5 anos de atividade mudou suas instalações para a atual área de 1500 m² em Santo André no estado de São Paulo.

A empresa atravessou quatro gerações e foi iniciada pelo avô paterno de Pedro Paulo Runge, um dos responsáveis pelo crescimento da mesma no mercado interno, sendo o pioneiro no desenvolvimento e fabricação em alta escala do pergaminho legítimo a partir de peles de cabra e pelicas para vestuário, luvas e calçados.

Hoje, dirigida pelas diretora Valentina S. Runge, o então, Cortume Runge é um dos curtumes de maior tradição na produção de peles finas.

Cortume Runge since 1937 develops leathers and skins for clothing, footwear, decoration and accessories  always following the tendence, so that our products maintain the quality, softness and natural touch increasingly, differentiating them from others by beauty and excellence.

The company has gone through four generations and was started by the grandfather of Pedro Paulo Runge, one of those responsible for the growth of the same in the domestic market, being the pioneer in developing and manufacturing high scale parchment legitimate from goat skins for clothing and Pelicas , gloves and shoes.

Today, led by the directors  Valentina S. Runge and Carlos Runge, Cortume Runge is one of the largest tanneries tradition in the production of fine leather and parchment.
